One of our returning customers recently visited Precision Audio in Bainbridge to discuss a new leveling kit, along with several accessories for his 2012 Ram 2500 pickup truck. After inspecting the vehicle and talking to Mr. Kelly about how he wanted his truck to look and how he intended to use it, we looked through several catalogs and websites to choose the best accessories that would suit his everyday needs. With everything picked out and a game plan made, he then booked his appointment for his truck makeover.
We started by putting the 2500 on our chassis lift and removing the stock wheels and tires and suspension components. Our guys then set to work on installing a 2-inch Leveling Kit made by TrailFx. Since everything bolts back into its factory location, no cutting is required with this application. With the leveling kit installed, it allowed us just enough clearance for our customer to run his new 20×10 Moto Metal Rims, wrapped around one of our favorite tires: the Toyo Open Country M/T in a 35×12.50R20. These wheels are 10 inches wide, with just enough offset to give us the stance our customer was looking for.
The next step was to lower the truck a bit and remove the front and rear bumpers to make way for new Ranch Hand Legend bumpers and a set of Rough Country step bars. We then added a CamLocker toolbox to the bed so our customer can store his belongings securely.
With everything installed, it was over to the tint bay to tint the driver and passenger windows with Llumar ATR window film. We brought the truck into our dedicated dust-free tint bay and applied the computer-cut film to the windows. This process ensures there are no nicks or scratches on the glass that would be created by cutting the film on the windows to fit.
With the Ram 2500 level kit, accessories installed and a short test drive around the block to confirm everything was in good shape, our customer then returned to Precision Audio in Bainbridge to pick up his vehicle. He loved the way it looked and was excited to get it on the road.
