A customer recently dropped by Precision in Bainbridge, looking to make a few changes to his new 2020 Jeep Wrangler. As the Rubicon Edition, it was already fully loaded and beautiful inside and out, so he didn’t want to change the appearance by much. One of his main concerns was an aftermarket step that would make getting in and out of this Jeep a lot easier. He also explained his concerns about preserving the interior of his Jeep while keeping the heat out, and we knew exactly what to do from there.
There is a wide variety of Jeep accessories in today’s market. Some of the most-popular are running boards and step bars. After showing him some of the products we could get, he decided to go with our PowerStep Running Boards by Amp Research. These steps are top of the line and made of high-strength, die-cast aluminum-alloy components, making them some of the sturdiest running boards on the market today. They’re also backed with a five-year warranty. Amp Research designed these running boards with a sleek hidden look that will deploy automatically when the door is opened or closed. That was exactly what our customer was looking for.
The last step was to tint the front windows on the Jeep so they would match the rear side and back windows. We discussed the different grades of tint we offer and he chose our Llumar ATR tint because it offers good heat rejection without the cost of going to a ceramic film. We cut the film for the two windows and an eyebrow for the windshield using our computer-controlled plotter. With the Jeep in our climate-controlled, dust-free tint bay, our team prepared the windows and completed the film installation.
With the upgrades finished, the client returned to Precision to pick up the vehicle. He loved the way everything looked and fit.
