The team at Franklin’s Spring Creek Ford brought over this 2020 F-350 for a set of big tires, a leveling kit and the standard new truck upgrade package that Precision Audio is known for. Our improvements include new wheels, WeatherTech floor liners, a front bumper and grille guard, a toolbox and premium window tint. Let’s check out each element of this pickup truck upgrade in more detail.
Wheels, Tires and Ford F-350 Suspension Leveling Kit
The Franklin’s team chose a set of eight-spoke Fuel D556 Coupler 20-inch wheels and Toyo Open Country 35×12.5-20 tires. Thirty-five inches is a pretty tall tire, and as such, we needed to install a leveling kit on the front of the F350 to ensure that the tires won’t interfere with the body or fenders when turned. We sourced and installed a TrailFX F25LL4 2.5-inch leveling kit to raise the suspension.
The Toyo tires were installed on the Fuel wheels using our Hunter tire machine, then balanced on our Road Force balancer to deliver a smooth ride. We used OE-style Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TMPS) sensors so that the computer in the truck can monitor tire pressures and warn the driver if one is low. Finally, we secured the new wheels to the hubs using a set of locking nuts to help prevent theft.
Truck Accessories Add Safety and Functionality
Next on the list was the installation of a Ranch Hand Legend-Series front bumper with an integrated grille guard. This one-piece assembly is welded from 4-inch schedule 40 piping for amazing strength.
We added a CamLocker 71-inch toolbox to the truck’s bed to increase storage options for tools and accessories. The box we installed has a matte black finish that matches the front bumper and grille.
We finished off the accessories with a set of Weathertech FloorLiners for the front and back seats. These vehicle-specific floor mats extend up the footwells’ sides to help keep dirt and debris away from the carpet.
Window Tint Looks Great and Rejects Heat
The last step was to tint the windows with Llumar ATR window film. This heat-rejecting film not only looks great, it blocks more than half of the IR energy from the sun to keep the interior cool. We cut the film on our computer-controlled plotter so that there were no scratches or knicks on the glass. Our dust-free tinting bay helps to ensure that no debris is caught under the film.
After a few days of work, we had this 2020 F-350 looking great with accessories, new wheels and tires and a leveling kit. The Franklin’s Spring Creek Ford team was thrilled!
