A local Jeep dealer came to Precision Audio looking to spruce up a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. After looking over the vehicle, we offered our suggestions to the dealer, and the dealer liked them, so we made an appointment to do the work.
Lift And Suspension Upgrades To Get This Jeep Sitting Right
Anyone who is into Jeeps knows that the stock wheels and tires aren’t going to cut it. For this vehicle, we suggested upgrading to 35” tall tires to completely transform the look. A stock Jeep can’t fit a tire that tall, so we knew that a suspension lift was going to be part of the package. We chose a Fabtech three-inch suspension lift. We are big fans of Fabtech as their kits are very well-engineered. This particular system comes with four new coil springs to achieve the 3 inches of increased lift. You also get anything and everything else needed, such as new shocks, sway bar links, brake hose extensions, trac bar brackets and so on. As this vehicle was to be sold to an end consumer who just wants to get in and drive, we think this kit made perfect sense.
Nitto Tires Look And Perform Great
Now the vehicle was the right height to hold the new tires. We chose the Nitto 35×12.50×18 tires in the Trail Grappler M/T tread pattern. If you want your truck to look like it can take on any challenge, these tires are perfect for you.
KMC Rims Make This Jeep Stand Out
When it came time for wheels, we went to KMC and used their Addict XD798 style in black. The silver bolts around the edge of the wheel really make them stand out from the crowd. For an added touch, we installed a matching fifth wheel and tire combo in the spare location on the tailgate. It surely helps complete the theme of a rugged, go-anywhere Jeep.
N-Fab Steps Make Getting In And Out Easier
Now that the Jeep had the proper stance, and the perfect set of wheels and tires, we knew it needed something else: a way to get into the thing – now that it was lifted, you couldn’t just slip into a seat. You now were going to climb in, so steps weare very important. But we didn’t want to lose any of the rugged looks, so we had to pick a set of steps that fit with our theme. N-Fab had the perfect answer for us. As you can see from the pictures, their steps in the textured black finish completed the look for us.
Window Tint Completes The Jeep Wrangler Upgrades
For a final touch, we tinted the front windows in Llumar ATR film to match the rear windows.
