Our friends over at Franklin’s Spring Creek Ford in Colquitt recently called Precision Audio to arrange a set of upgrades for an F-350 pickup truck. The dealership wanted a new wheel and tire package, a leveling kit, a grille guard, heat-rejecting window tint, a toolbox and high-quality floor mats installed on this heavy-duty truck.
Georgia’s Wheel and Tire Upgrade Experts
We started the upgrades by installing a TrailFX F25LL4 2.5-inch leveling kit on the front suspension to provide more clearance for the big tires the Spring Creek team had chosen. Our technicians have access to all the fastener torque specifications, and we use a torque wrench to ensure that everything is secured correctly.
This upgrade includes a set of Toyo Open Country AT II all-terrain tires sized at 35×12.50/20. These tires are unique in that they combine an open tread block design for excellent traction in dirt and mud but use small rubber tie bars between the blocks to maintain good braking and handling characteristics. We mounted the tires on a set of 20-inch Fuel Off-Road D556 Coupler wheels in a black finish. We used our Hunter Road Force balancer to ensure that the set would deliver a smooth ride. Each tire has a new TPMS sensor valve stem so the truck can monitor tire pressure.
Colquitt Ford F-350 Grille Guard and Toolbox
With the wheel and tire package installed, we set to work removing the front bumper to make way for a Ranch Hand Legend-Series FBF201BLR bumper with an integrated tubular grille guard. This guard features a welded design that’s bolted right to the frame of the truck.
We installed a CamLocker 71-inch toolbox in the bed of the truck. This welded aluminum toolbox has a matte black finish and includes tie-down rails on the lid.
We wrapped up the truck accessories installation with a set of WeatherTech 4410122 and 4410541V Digital-Fit FloorLiners. These measured-to-fit custom floor mats extend up the center transmission hump and firewall a few inches to protect the carpet from mud and dirt.
Heat-Rejecting Window Tint
We finished the upgrades to this F-350 with Llumar ATR window tint. Our computer-controlled plotter cut out the film while our technicians prepared the windows in our dust-free bay. Cutting the film on the plotter means we never have to use a razor blade on the vehicle. This means there are no scratches in the glass or nicks in the trim.
After a few days of work, we had this cool black F-350 upgraded and ready to head back to the dealership in Colquitt. It looks amazing!
