The guys at Precision of Thomasville, GA, were recently contacted by a repeat client of theirs from Thomasville, looking to get some of the exterior of his Chevy Silverado truck sprayed with Line-X. After a quick inspection of his vehicle, we began working with him to help him choose solutions that would provide the performance and appearance he wanted. With a plan in place, we scheduled an appointment to upgrade and enhance his vehicle.
The customer wanted the rocker panels, fender flares and bed of his truck sprayed with our Line-X Platinum, which is 300% stronger than other liners. Line-X Platinum not only prevents corrosion and is very tear-resistant; it also has UV protection that resists sun-burning UV rays and is fade-resistant.
The first step in the process was to tape off the truck from the rocker panels up, which prevents overspray from getting on the rest of the vehicle. Once that was done, we sanded the areas of the vehicle that the customer asked to be sprayed, and then chemical-wiped it to ensure the surface was clean before applying the Line-X. After we finished spraying, we removed our tape and protective plastic from his vehicle so our guys could begin installing the customer’s new audio equipment.
Our guys started by adding a Pioneer DVD player with built-in Bluetooth. This will allow him to be hands-free while driving, giving him the ability to abide by Georgia’s new hands-free law. Next, our guys ran a backup camera, which displays nicely on his new Pioneer touchscreen and makes backing up to his trailer a one-man job.
Our final step was replacing the front and rear speakers with Rockford Fosgate’s Punch component speakers. This gave the customer the crisp, clean sound he was looking for from his new system.
