A repeat client from Bainbridge, Georgia, came to Precision Audio with his 2014 Ford F250, looking for several upgrades. We have done business with this client for 10 years, so we have gotten to understand his thought processes about vehicle modifications. One of our team went out to the vehicle with the client and looked it over with him. They explored his goals for the truck, and we compared it to previous work we had done for him. We took all of our information and worked up a proposal for the client outlining all of the F250 accessories we would add, and he liked what we presented, so we made an installation appointment.
3.5″ Suspension Lift For Ground And Tire Clearance
We knew from the beginning that the client wanted to change the look of the vehicle to make it appear more rugged, while keeping all of its functionality. Our team of highly skilled technicians installed a Readylift 3.5” suspension lift on the vehicle to allow room for a new wheel-and-tire package. What we like about this kit is the ride quality stays intact while it levels out the stance of the truck, getting rid of the factory jacked-up rear end look.
20″ Fuel Wheels And M/T Tires For Great Looks And Traction
When it came time for wheels and tires, the client chose the 20” diameter Fuel Hostage wheels in black. A set of 35×12.50rx20 Mickey Thompson MTZ tires rounded out the look. This combination of black wheels and side biters on the tires gave the truck a mean, menacing look. We road-force balance all of our wheel-and-tire packages to ensure the client won’t have any steering wheel shake when driving up the road. Precision Audio is one of the few wheel-and-tire shops in the area that has made this significant investment for our clients, but in our opinion, it is the right way to do things.
Ranch Hand Grille Guard 1 of Many F250 Accessories We Added
In the front of the vehicle, we installed a black Ranch Hand grille guard. If you are not familiar with Ranch Hand, they are all about function over form. This is not a sissy, bumper-mounted grille guard. It is a frame-mounted steel unit that does an incredible job of protecting the front of this F250 from damage. And it does that while giving the client a rugged, “don’t mess with me” look to the front of his truck.
Additional Storage With TrailFX Toolbox
Anyone who uses a truck as a truck needs a tool box. In keeping with the black theme of our upgrades, we installed a black diamond-plated TrailFX toolbox, giving the client a secure place to keep all of his gear.
Llumar ATR Film Adds Heat Rejection
We rounded out the installation by tinting his windows in Llumar ATR film. It does a great job of heat rejection, so the client stays much cooler in the summer time.
