Here is an excellent example of how you can take a traditional SUV like a Chevrolet Tahoe and give it a more-aggressive look to help your vehicle stand out in the crowd.
To match up the factory privacy glass on the windows from the rear doors and back, we applied our Llumar ATR metalized window film. By having it installed here at Precision, an authorized Llumar dealer, the film comes with a lifetime warranty against fading, peeling and discoloration.
Trucks and SUVs are notorious for having the slanted, dipped-in the front look to them. This difference is from the weight of the motor on the suspension, lowering the height by an inch or two. One of the easiest, most-basic and least-expensive upgrades to a truck or SUV is to add a suspension-lowering leveling kit like this Pro Comp 2.25″ setup.
A leveling kit looks great even with the factory wheels and tires, but to make a vehicle really stand out, new rims and tires are the way to go. We outfitted this Tahoe with 20″ Helo HE900s. The Helos are wrapped in Toyo AT II 275/65-20s all-terrain tires. OEM GM tire pressure monitoring system adapters keep the factory TPMS system functioning completely.
Rounding out the esthetic upgrades to this Tahoe is a frame-mounted, bolt-on Ranch Hand grille guard. Not only do these grille guards look great but, being mounted to the frame of the vehicle, this grille guard keeps the front of the vehicle and passengers safer from deer, other wayward animals crossing the roads at night and collisions with other vehicles. As a safety upgrade, Ranch Hand grille guards are a great option to keep you and your passengers safer while traveling.
