Recently, Franklin’s Spring Creek Ford of Colquitt, GA, brought us a 2018 Jeep Wrangler for a minor upgrade to make it more accessible. This Jeep was already equipped with a lift kit, wheels and tires, but was missing one important accessory, and that was some steps. This Jeep was sitting up on some beautiful 20×10 Fuel Battles wrapped in 35 x 12.50 x 20 Toyo Open Country R/T tires, which is a nice twist on the popular Open Country ATII and MT tires.
With the added height of the lift and tires on this Jeep, Franklin’s wanted the guys at Precision Audio in Bainbridge to add some of Amp Research’s popular Powersteps so whoever purchased this Jeep would be comfortable getting in and out without having to jump. One of the benefits of these steps is when the door is closed, these boards will hide underneath the truck to ensure ground clearance is not affected, unlike when fixed running boards, which may sit low and hit obstacles on the road when off-roading. These boards are also good for those who do not want unsightly steps sticking out from the lower parts of their vehicles.
With the new Power-Steps installed, it was back to the dealership for the vehicle to be cleaned up and put out on the lot.
